Engine error p0135 02 sensor heated circuit malfunction
« on: June 20, 2018, 07:07:12 PM »
Where do I find that part, and how to fix, a loose cable maybe?

Code reset tool used, but it comes right back,so issue is now permanent.

Scoot rides no problem.

I run a car repair business and we have similar issues with oxygen sensors. You can clear the code using diagnostic equipment but the code will keep coming back until the oxygen sensor is replaced. The part is always Dealer only and can be pricey.Driveability will not be affected however there might be a slight increase in fuel consumption. You obviously still have the original exhaust system on your boney. You might find that a complete aftermarket exhaust system is cheaper than a new oxygen sensor! If you do go that route though the error light will be on continuously due to the fact that the aftermarket exhaust system will not have a fitting for a oxygen sensor.

Unscrew the lambda sensor on the exhaust...take it to an autoshop...it might be compatible with another make/model. IE. voltage, thread type, depth, etc.

Anyways, I had some major luck guys. I found a spare in my spares  box, that works. A huge saving of R3000. 00. Awesome!
