Maintaining your plastic and vinyl seats
« on: August 30, 2018, 07:27:03 AM »
Good morning to all
Down to the point. What do you use to try and keep the plastic parts and especially the vinyl seats in good condition.
I would like to keep my bike as original as possible for as long as possible. Plastic I might find some plastic conditioner that Meguiars makes.
My vinyl seat I am tempted to use leather cream and just work it in nicely.

I use Wynns Leather Care Cream for the seat and Mr Min for the plastics and screen. Black plastics get a spritz with silicone spray occasionally.
Home is where your bike sits still long enough to leave a few drops of oil on the ground.

Thanks. I would think that leather cream would basically do the same for vinyl as for leather. So I am going to use my leather cream also.

Silicone spray, to prevent plastic oxidation.

Mr Min for seats. Or elsewhere.
